Do More With Less

From childhood to the present day, my life has been about making the most of what I have.

My parents instilled a valuable lesson early on:

It's not about what you lack, but how you make the most of what you have.

My passion for capturing life’s natural energy through light and glass comes from my dad.

He always carried these things: a camera and/or camcorder, his bible, and holy oil.

(He was a pastor y’all, lol)

The camera was a constant presence and no matter the occasion, he made sure we had memories captured, allowing us to re-experience those raw emotions.

We never had the fanciest equipment, but we made it work.

I wanted to carry on his tradition, but in my own way. My love for music, history, writing, and cinema drives me to capture the natural energy of life and preserve it for future generations; a street historian if you will.

I started with my iPhone and continue to use any tools necessary to get the right shot.

Capturing authentic and unfiltered moments and editing them to the rhythm of life brings me so much joy!

Building safe spaces for marginalized groups to tell their stories is my ongoing mission.

Join me in capturing life’s energy in the moment.
